Taking Care: Chapter 2: My Child
"YOU FOUND THEM IN THE FOREST?!"
Sans quickly put a bony finger in front of his smile as he looked down at the kid. They were standing in the kitchen as the child sat in nothing but a cloth diaper. Their eye's wandered around, but mostly they clung to Sans arm as he slowly wiped the warm cloth over their body. Removing the dirt and ice that had clung to them when Sans had first found them. But... he noticed something else...
...dust... it was only a little bit, but it was clinging to the kids hands. What had happened?
"they were lying right outside the door to the ruins... like someone had came out and laid them right on the ground."

"Who are you?"
He stays silent. The same way you've always seen him. Despite the grin on his face, you could see the sadness in his eyes. He looked to the ground and flattened the robe he wore. He looked back up at you before moving his hands in multiple gestures.
You tilt your head in confusion.
The man sits back down and looks around the room. The grin is still on his face, as with the scars spread on his skull. You ask again. "Who are you?"
He turns back to you and stares. He raises his hands, repeating the previous gestures. You still do not understand. He sighs, which was the first sound you've heard from him. He looks back to the gr

Falls The Shadow (Hunter!Germany x Reader)~ Part 5
Ludwig Beilschmidt ground his teeth when he was annoyed. He also exhaled loudly out of his nose like a snorting bull. And he muttered to himself.
You knew this, because he had been doing it continuously since you had set out with him.
It was getting rather annoying.
The two of you trudged through the undergrowth of the forest, mostly avoiding eye contact and only speaking when absolutely necessary. No doubt he was still in something of a whirl of bewilderment and annoyance that a young girl had managed to argue her way into coming with him, all with some simple use of logic. You could scarcely believe it yourself, but something in you had o

Elizaveta and Yekaterina go to the kitchen while the others sit at the table. Ivan is already sitting at the table at the end on one side. (Name) skips into the room and sits across from him. Vash sits on the same side as (Name) at the end and Lili comes in and sits between them.
“So Ivan, tell me about yourself” (Name) says cheerily
Ivan grins and nods.
“Well, I love vodka and sunflowers, I like cold winter days and snow”
“Wow, are vodka and sunflowers like sake and sakura?” (Name) asks mystified
Ivan opens his mouth to ask what she is talking about but he quickly f

Sunlight. Never before had it been so unwelcome. You could feel the bright rays beating against your eyelids, coaxing you, no, more like coercing you to open your eyes. You weren’t ready though; not at all. Firstly, you had hardly slept a wink last night between your racing thoughts, consuming guilt, and anxiety attacks over what had transpired just last night. Second, you would have to leave the room some time, the thought of which was already so overwhelmingly stressful that you wanted to explode. How were you supposed to act? What were you supposed to say? “Hi sorry for betraying your trust, going through your most precious bel

“This is the preposition, so then what follows must be the…?”
“Object?”
“Good! Simple enough, right? So, in this sentence what’s your preposition?”
“At…”
“And the object?”
“Noon?”
You smiled. “Good job! You’re not as bad at this as you say you are. I’ve never seen someone pick up grammar so quickly. You’re even better than a native English speaker.”
His cheeks became pink. “T-thank you… But it’s because I have you as my tutor.&rdqu

Broken Pieces (Russia x Reader)
“Ivan?” you murmured, slowly walking into the room.
Your footsteps echoed off the bare walls and reverberated through the creaky floorboards. Every picture and painting had been torn from their place and lay shattered, glass strewn in all directions, and the photographs shredded into ribbons.
Wallpaper rested in furls upon the floor and hung from their places on the walls, ragged and tattered and unfixable.
The furniture was thrown about: broken chairs, splintered wood, overturned tables and tossed items. The canopy of the bed was in shambles and the once beautiful quilt was no more than thread upon the mattress.

Withering (Russia x Sick!Reader)
Ivan Braginski hated hospitals.
Blindingly white, bleak and sterile, they were a constant reminder to him of what little time he had left with you.
The tall Russian traipsed down the chilly tiled hall, passing several doctors hurrying about their business, his footsteps growing ever heavier as he neared his destination.
He stopped in front of your door, twirling the single sunflower in his hand nervously with a leaden heart.
He dreaded going in to see you.
It was not that he hated you – no, quite the opposite. Ivan loved you with all of his caring, warm heart, with every fibre of his being. Ivan loved you, but he dreaded seeing you

Weeks went by. Those weeks didn't result in anything new or better or anything. Alfred stayed the same, without his memories of you, but he never bothered you after that conversation before lunch that day. To be honest with yourself, you almost missed his pestering, but you had sworn to yourself that you had gotten over him. You have. You did. Of course you did. How could you not?
But there's always that stubborn part in people. That stubborn part was keeping its hold on your feelings for Alfred. You missed his pestering because you wanted a reason to talk to him. You wanted to hear your name in his voice. The way he said your name made you
